Hello My Friends!!
      Great job to our classmates that performed in the Holiday Concert this morning and good luck tonight! I want to tell you that I was very impressed with your written responses today in math. This is a very hard thing to have to do and you showed me today that you are getting it! So, GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!! Here's tonight's homework:

• Double-Sided Math Sheet

Spelling:

• Because of the Holiday concert we were unable to give the Pre-test, so I asked you all to make sure you bring your Spelling books home so you could write the words in ABC order.

Reading:

• Read 20 minutes

Good Afternoon Students!
      Today in writing I showed you how to create a timeline on the Read Write Think Website. Tonight you will be creating timelines for your explorer on that website. If for some reason you are not able to create this timeline online, please come to school tomorrow with the 8 or more events you would like to have on your timeline. I will find time tomorrow for you to use a classroom computer to create this or time on Friday. Again, if you can NOT use the online timeline, YOU MUST bring the 8 events that you want to add tomorrow to school!!

Math:

• Homelink 3.3
• Math Facts Wednesday

Spelling:

• pg. 72-74

Social Studies:

• Online timeline (print and bring in) or 8 events for timeline. 

Reading:

• Fuzzy Guppies: Comprehension Questions
• How did Mrs. Sharpe respond to Petra's and Calder's questions? Why did her reactions make them think she might be involved in the art theft?
• Who do you think the thief is?

Dates for Timeline

Please share a date of something important that happened to your explorer. Other kids in the class will be able to use some of your information on their timeline. Thanks!!!

Happy December 1st!!!!

Today we finally landed in the NEW WORLD!!! Tomorrow we will decide where we want to land and pick landing cards. This month we will be wrapping up our Exploration Unit in Social Studies, Research Project in Writing and our Mystery Unit in Reading!!!! Here is tonight's homework.

Math:

• Homelink 3.2
• Corrections for Homelink 3.1 if you got a yellow star on it!!
• Math Facts Tuesday

Spelling:

• Spelling pages 72-74

Social Studies:

• Continue any research that you still have left.
• You might want to write down a few ideas on events you want on the timeline. We will be working on this tomorrow in class. 

Reading:

• 20 minutes of reading
• ED
• Finish your jobs for Chapters 11-14 pgs. 78-117
